Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, has expressed sadness over the death of the Secretary-General of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC, Muhammad Barkindo.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Oguwike Nwachuku, Uzodinma described the death as shocking, unbelievable and unfortunate.
The statement described late Barkindo as a prominent Nigerian professional, who devoted his time and energy in the service of the Country.
Recall that Barkindo died at the age of 63 on Tuesday night in Abuja.
Asisat Oshoala has been ruled out of the ongoing 2022 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations in Morocco due to injury. Oshoala picked up the injury in the Super Falcons’ 2-1 defeat to the Banyana Banyana of South Africa on Monday The striker was replaced by winger Francisca Ordega. The Super Falcons will take on Botswana in their game on Thursday.
