Wike Congratulates Rivers United on NPFL Title Win

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has congratulated Rivers United for emerging Champions of the 2021/22 Nigeria Professional Football League.

Wike, who attributed the achievement of Rivers United to the Team’s determination, noted that by virtue of the league win, the Club would represent the Country in the CAF Champions League next season.

Niger Government Investigates Deaths in Private Hospitals

Niger State Government has constituted a Committee to investigate the cause and increase in death cases in Private Health facilities in the State. Chairman of the Committee, Haruna Aliyu, noted that the measure was adopted to avert more deaths in such facilities. According to Aliyu, the Committee would submit its reports and recommendations to the State government for action and implementation.
