The United Kingdom has congratulated the people of Ekiti State for their peaceful and democratic participation in the Governorship election in the State.
On its Twitter page, the UK commended Security Agencies, Civil Society Partners, and all Stakeholders for their collective effort in the successful conduct of the poll.
It, however, advised the Independent National Electoral Commission to reflect on other potential improvements to the electoral process ahead of general elections in 2023.
Cross River State Chapter of Trade Union Congress, TUC, has warned of an impending strike action in the State. State Chairman of the Union, Monday Ogbodum, issued the warning on Monday.
