Imo Government Debunks Claim of Advocating Muslim-Muslim Presidential Ticket

Imo State Government has debunked the claim that the State Governor, Hope Uzodimma advocated a Muslim- Muslim ticket for the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

A statement issued on Wednesday by the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba noted that at no time did Uzodinma canvass such a position.

The statement maintained that the Governor was emphatic that religion was not a factor in the Constitution for the election of a President or Vice President.
