Rebel Attack in Burkina Faso Claims 50 Lives

At least 50 people have died in an attack by armed men on a village in northern Burkina Faso.

The Government Spokesperson, Lionel Bilgo who disclosed this said the death toll may rise.

Meanwhile, the United Nations condemned the attack and called on authorities to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Moghalu resigns from ADC

Presidential Aspirant of African Democratic Party, ADC, Kingsley Moghalu, has resigned from the Party after he failed to clinch the Presidential ticket. In a letter addressed to ADC’s National Chairman, Okey  Nwosu, Moghalu claimed alleged manipulation of the Presidential Primary. Recall that Moghalu had last week lost the ADC Presidential Primary election.
