Niger State Police Command has disbursed over N64.7 million to families of Policemen who died in active service between 2020 and 2021.
Presenting the Cheques, the State Commissioner of Police, Monday Kuryas, said the Cheques were for thirty different families of Police personnel.
The Commissioner stated that this welfare gesture is geared towards improving the lives and capacity of the families left behind by these heroic officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.
Delta State Police Command has gunned down three suspected kidnappers in Umunede area of the State. The Command’s Spokesman, Bright Edafe, confirmed this on Monday in Asaba, the State Capital. Edafe stated that some sophisticated ammunitions were recovered from the criminals.
