The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has arrested a wanted drug kingpin, Henry Okamaru in Ondo State,
A statement issued by the Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, revealed that Okamaru was one of the leaders of a cannabis cultivation cartel that operated in the Ondo-Ekiti axis.
The statement added that the drug lord has been identified as a member of an International drug trafficking ring.
It charged the Officers of the Agency not to relent in their offensive action against drug cartels and their kingpins.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, before a Federal High Court in Abuja. Okorocha, was arraigned before Justice Inyang Ekwo on Monday in Abuja. He is being tried on a 17-count charge to the tune of N2.9 billion filed against him by the anti-graft agency.
