NCDC Confirms 21 Cases of Monkeypox

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 21 cases of monkeypox since the start of the year with one death reported.

This was disclosed in a statement issued by the NCDC Director-General, Ifedayo Adetifa,

The statement noted that among the 21 cases reported, there has been no evidence of any new or unusual transmission of the virus.
