The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has cancelled its Primaries in Ebonyi State.
A statement issued on Sunday by the Party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, revealed that all State House of Assembly, National Assembly and Governorship Primaries of the Party conducted in the State are cancelled.
According to the statement, a new date would be announced for the affected exercises in the State.
It charged all Aspirants, critical Stakeholders, Leaders and members of the Party in the State to remain calm, united and focused.
Enugu State Governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Peter Mbah, has debunked report of his alleged assassination. A statement issued on Sunday by his Media Aide, Dan Nwome described the reports on social media as fake and misleading. The statement maintained that Mbah is alive and the reports of his death should be disregarded. Recalled that reports had emerged on Sunday that Mbah was killed by unknown gunmen.
