Supreme Court Reserves Judgment In Suit Seeking To Annul Section 84(12)

The Supreme Court has reserved judgment in the suit filed by President Muhammadu Buhari and Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, seeking to annul Section 84(12) of the Electoral Act, 2022.

The court further revealed that a date will be announce to the parties involved.

They are seeking an order of the apex court to strike out the section of the Electoral Act.

Recall that Buhari and Malami filed a suit seeking an interpretation of Section 84(12) of the Electoral Amendment Act 2022.
