The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has expressed disappointment over the manner politicians monetized the nation’s electoral process.

INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, raised the concerns during a one-day colloquium, held in Abuja.

Yakubu stated that the increasing insecurity across the country, and the menace of fake news had become matters of concern to the Commission.

He, however, assured stakeholders that INEC would work with anti-graft agencies to reverse the trend.
