INEC urges women participation in Politics

Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has kicked against marginalization of women in the Political space.

Speaking at a workshop for Gender Desk Officers across the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, in Lagos State, INEC National Commissioner, Kunle Ajayi, regretted that women were only being used for Political rallies.

Ajayi noted that the active participation of women in Politics would strengthen the Nation’s democratic process.
