Former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, has withdrawn from the Enugu State governorship race.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Director-General, Ikeoha Campaign Organisation, Charles Asogwa, on Wednesday.

The statement urged his supporters to remain peaceful and calm.
