Lawmakers Seek Security Beef Up Over Killing of Okoye in Amanbra

Anambra State House of Assembly has condemned the killing one of its member, Okechukwu Okoye, the lawmaker representing Aguata 2 Constituency in the State

Speaker of the House, Uche Okafor tasked the State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo with securing lives and properties in the State, urging him not to relent in the State government’s efforts.

Okafor called on residents of the State and other well-meaning citizens to join hands with the Governor in securing the state.

Recalled that Okoye was gruesomely murdered after he was abducted and his Aide last week

APC Suspends Presidential Screening

The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has postponed the Screening of all the Presidential Aspirants scheduled to take place on Monday, May 23 indefinitely. A statement issued on Sunday by the Party National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka disclosed that a new date for the Screening exercise would be announced by the Party. The statement regrets any inconvenience caused by the postponement.
