Doctors In Sri Lanka Decry Medicine Shortage

Doctors in Sri Lanka have revealed that shortage of medicine caused by an economic crisis in the country could cause deaths.

Sri Lanka imports more than 80 percent of its medical supplies but with foreign currency reserves running out, essential medications are disappearing and the healthcare system is close to collapse.

The Country is grappling with its worst economic crisis, brought about by COVID-19.
