Police Clarifies Alleged Bomb Explosion in Kano

Kano State Police Command has clarified the alleged bomb explosion in the state.

State Commissioner of Police, Sama’ila Dikko revealed that it was a gas explosion.

According to Dikko, four persons have been confirmed dead.

Recall that there was an explosion in Sabon Gari, area of the State

Guinea Bissau’s President Dissolves Parliament.

President Umaro Sissoco Embalo has dissolved Guinea-Bissau’s parliament and said early parliamentary elections would be held this year to resolve a long-running political crisis. A statement issued by Embalo cited persistent and unresolvable differences with parliament. The statement added that the political crisis has exhausted the capital of trust between the sovereign institutions. A presidential decree said parliamentary elections would be held on December 18.
