Nigerian Paper Mills Collapses

National Bureau of Statistics, NBS, has said Nigerian paper mills have collapsed years after privatization.

According to BNS, Nigeria imported paper and its allied products worth N296.696billion between July and December 2021.

While paper valued at N188.137billion was imported in the third quarter of 2021, import in the last quarter of the year was estimated at N108.559billion.

United States House approve funds for Ukraine

The United State House of Representatives has approved a fresh $40billion aid package for Ukraine. The Legislators passed the Ukraine bill by 368 to 57 votes on Tuesday. According to the Democratic Representative, Rosa DeLauro, who chairs the House Appropriations Committee, disclosed that the bill will protect democracy, limit Russian aggression, and strengthen national security.
