Nigerian singer and songwriter, CKay, has become the first Nigerian to amass over a billion Spotify streams with a single song.
The Singer appears to have accomplished a lot in the last year, from his global hit song ‘Love Nwantiti’ receiving numerous certifications around the world.
Three years after the original song’s release all remixes have amassed over a billion streams on Spotify.
Nigeria’s monthly debt service rose by $31.46m in one month to $101.29m in January. Figures obtained from the Central Bank of Nigeria revealed that the government spent $69.83m on debt service repayment in December. The data showed that the government spent $148.57m and $85.23m on debt service repayment in November and October 2021 respectively.
