Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade, has directed his appointees seeking elective offices to resign.
A statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Christian Ita disclosed that the directive is with immediate effect from Thursday, May 5, 2022.
The statement thanked the Political appointees for their invaluable service to the state and prayed God to bless their future endeavors.

Malami denies alleged car gifts to delegates

Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami has denied reports that he purchased and distributed expensive cars to delegates ahead of the Kebbi State Governorship election. In an interview Malami denied sharing vehicles to any delegate across the state. Recall that reports emerged that the Minister procured about 30 cars for delegates that would vote for him during the All Progressives Congress, APC, Primary election in the state.
