Nasarawa Speaker commends government over payment of salary arrears

The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Ibrahim Abdullahi has commended the State Governor, Abdullahi Sule for keeping to his promise to pay six months of outstanding salary arrears to the newly recruited 496 Teachers in the state.

The Speaker, through his Chief Press Secretary, Jibrin Gwamna, gave the commendation in a statement made available to newsmen on Sunday in Lafia to mark the 2022 Workers Day celebration.

The statement noted that the gesture of the Governor would improve the standard of living of the Teachers and their family members.
