Senate seeks end to ASUU’s Strike

Senate President, Ahmad Lawan has called for a speedy resolution to the strike embarked by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.

Lawan made the call in a statement signed by his Spokesperson, Ola Awoniyi to celebrate Nigerian workers on the occasion of this year’s May Day.

The statement appealed for an amicable resolution of the ongoing negotiations between the Federal Government and ASUU to ensure that Universities reopen for learning and research.
