Ogun Governor Declares Re-Election Bid

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has declared his intention to run for a second term as governor of the state.

Abiodun made the announcement on Thursday at the Government House in Abeokuta, the state capital.

The Governor also announced that his Deputy, Noimot Oyedele, remains his running mate in the contest.

Edo Government Hands Over State College of Education to Federal Government

Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has handed over a defunct State College of Education, Ekiadolor, to the Federal Government. Obaseki who handed the Institution to the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, reassured his administration’s sustained investment in technical and vocational education in the state. The Governor urged the Federal government to rename the citadel of learning after a former Commissioner for Education in old Bendel State, Tayo Akpata.
