Algeria Threatens to Suspend Gas Exports to Spain

Algeria has threatened to suspend its gas exports to Spain.

In a statement issued by the Algeria’s Energy Ministry warned that gas supplies it sends to Spain through a separate pipeline could be suspended if the gas is diverted elsewhere.

According to the statement, such diversion could be regarded as a contract breach.

Recalled that Spain has been in talks with Morocco about helping the North African kingdom boost its gas supplies.
