A military court in Myanmar has delayed giving its first verdict in the trial of overthrown leader, Aung Kyi.
Kyi has been detained since the generals’ power grab put an end to the country’s brief period of democracy.
She has since been hit with a series of charges, including violating the official secrets act, corruption and electoral fraud.
The former leader is facing a total of 10 corruption charges, each with a possible 15-year jail term.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has arrested a Nigerian billionaire drug baron. A statement signed by NDLEA Media Director, Femi Babafemi revealed that the suspect, Afam Ukatu is behind the N3 billion Tramadol deal involving a suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Intelligence Response Team, IRT, Abba Kyari.
