Obasanjo calls for establishment of state police

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo has said the growing spate of insecurity in Nigeria would be curtailed by State Police.
Obasanjo made this known when the leadership of the National Association of Ex-local Government Chairmen paid him a courtesy visit in Abeokuta, Ogun state capital.
He commended the Association, noting that some local chairmen in the country were better than some top elected leaders.
The former president called for the strengthening of the traditional system and local government administration.
