Buhari approves appointment of new Judges

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of six new judges for the Federal High Court of Nigeria and one for the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.

A statement issued by the office of the Chief Justice of Nigeria disclosed that the swearing in ceremony will take place on April 20, 2022.

The new Judges comprised the incumbent Chief Registrar of the Federal High Court, Emmanuel Gakko, Bala Usman, Aminu Garba, Musa Liman, among others.

Lagos to upgrade computer systems in MDAs

Lagos State Government has expressed its readiness to upgrade the computer systems (applications) in all the Ministries, Departments and Agencies of the state. Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Olayinka Fashola, disclosed this on Tuesday during a stakeholders’ workshop on the system upgrade project in Ikeja, the State Capital. Fashola explained that the upgrade would ensure transparency in public service.
