City Qualifies for Champions League Semi Finals

Manchester City held off Atletico Madrid to qualify for   Champions League semi-final showdown with Real Madrid.

City kept a clean sheet in the face of intimidation from a physical Atletico side.

Atletico ended the contest with 10 men when defender was shown a second yellow card for a dangerous follow through on Phil Foden.

Senate Approves Nigeria Customs 2022 Budget

The Senate has approved N369.04 billion as the budget for the Nigeria Customs Service for 2022. The approval followed the consideration of a report by the Committee on Customs, Excise and Tariffs, chaired by Francis Alimikhena. Alimikhena stated that the NCS in collaboration with relevant government agencies would pursue improved internally generated revenue by implementing the 2021 Finance Act.
