Road Construction Remains my Priority -Okowa

The Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa has said that road construction remains his priority and will continue to award construction of roads to link communities till his last day in office.

This was disclosed in statement signed by the Commissioner for Information, Charles Aniagwu in Asaba the state capital.

Aniagwu noted the roads will link to communities, which will ease the movement of agricultural produce from one community to another.

The University Of Agriculture And Environmental Sciences, UAES,Umuagwo, Imo State, on Wednesday, held its maiden matriculation ceremony for its pioneer students . Speaking at the event, the Deputy Governor, Placid Njoku notes that the institution intends to produce agropreneurs. Also speaking,the Vice Chancellor, Patrick Egbule, gives an insight on the challenge of funding the university. He also encouraged students to be hardworking.
