Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has met with stakeholders over the re-opening of the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge toll plaza.
A statement issued by the Commissioner for Information, Gbenga Omotoso, revealed that Sanwo-Olu met with stakeholders as part of the consultations on the return of tolling to the Ikoyi Link Bridge.
The statement noted that the governor agreed to make some concessions after showing evidence of LCC’s financial situation.
Ogun State Police Command has discovered a land cultivated for planting cannabis sativa in the state. The Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed this in a statement. The statement revealed that the arrest followed credible intelligence gathered by policemen at the Isara Divisional Headquarters. It added that police operatives arrested seven suspects caught planting the weeds on the farm.
