Kaduna Government insists on not paying ransom to bandits

Kaduna State Governor, Nasir el-Rufai has maintained that the state will not pay ransom to bandits.
El-Rufai disclosed this after updating President Muhammadu Buhari on security developments in the state.
He stressed that the state will not pay ransom for kidnapped victims from the attack, even if the terrorists seek that from the government.
The Governor noted that security agencies have been making efforts to rescue victims of the attack, from the hands of their kidnappers.
