The immediate past First Lady of Anambra State, Ebelechukwu Obiano, has apologized to Governor Charles Soludo and Ndigbo over the incident between her and Bianca Ojukwu.
While tendering her apology, Obiano declared her intention to join the contest for the forthcoming Anambra North Senatorial District election.
She revealed that her interest to join the Senatorial race was in response to pressure from her people.
The former First Lady stated that she is willing, ready and has accepted the call by her people to come and serve them.
The Embattled Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi has approached a Federal High Court Abuja, to withdraw a stay of execution motion. Counsel to Governor Umahi, Chukwuma Ume, said the development was due to a mistake that occurred in the earlier stay of execution motion, especially in the spelling of Umahi’s name. Ume informed the court that he had withdrawn the earlier motion to replace it with a new one.
