Sebastien Haller brace helps Cote d’Ivoire beat Cameroon

Cote d’Ivoire defeated Cameroon 2-1 at Lassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan on Monday night, with Sebastien Haller scoring twice in the first half.

Les Elephants took a two-goal lead at halftime in the FIFA World Cup, Qatar 2022 qualifying Group D battle, with Nicolas Ngamaleu pulling one back for The Indomitable Lions in the second half.

Cote d’Ivoire now leads the group by four points, one point ahead of Cameroon in second place.

On Tuesday, Malawi takes on Mozambique in the group’s other match.
