Nigeria’s petroleum marketers have accused Dangote Refinery of running a hidden pricing system for petrol.

Billy Gillis-Harris, president of the Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Association of Nigeria (PETROAN), revealed this during an interview on Thursday.

His statement follows the recent increase in the pump price of petrol by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, raising it to N1,030 per litre in Abuja.

In response to the price hike, Gillis-Harris called on Dangote Refinery to be more transparent about its petrol pricing, urging the refinery’s management to involve stakeholders and allow marketers to directly source its petrol.
