Isiguzoro urges Ndigbo to observe minute silence at noon for fallen heroes

Factional Secretary-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, has urged Ndigbo to mark the 2024 Igbo Day which is slated to hold from 27th to 29th of September, as a time of solemn reflection and profound remembrance for its fallen heroes.

In a statement he issued on Friday, the secretary-general who revealed that the theme of this year’s celebration is Ozoemela, stated that this year’s celebration would pave the way for Ohanaeze’s election scheduled for January 2025.

The body also urged Igbos to remain prayerful and hopeful in the face of the socio-economic challenges confronting Nigeria.
