The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors is set to resume work today, Monday, following a seven-day nationwide warning strike over the abduction of their colleague, Ganiyat Popoola.

NARD, however, said it would review the Federal Government’s commitment to resolving its demand in the next three weeks.

According to a statement by the President of NARD, Dele Abdullahi, the group will be meeting to review the progress the government has made in the next three weeks.

Recall that NARD began a seven-day warning strike last Monday, demanding the rescue of Popoola, a registrar at the National Eye Centre, Kaduna and in response, the Federal Government announced it would enforce the ‘no work, no pay’ policy against the striking resident doctors.
