Abia State Government Pledges Zero Tolerance for Crime

The Abia State Government has declared its commitment to safeguarding the achievements made under Governor Alex Otti’s administration, vowing not to allow criminal elements to undermine these efforts.
This was announced by the Commissioner for Information and Culture, Okey Kanu, during a press briefing on the recent Executive Council meeting, in which he declared that the state government has a zero-tolerance policy for criminal activities.
He urged the public to remain vigilant, citing credible intelligence reports indicating that these criminal elements are planning further disruptions.
Additionally, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Security Matters, MacDonald Uba added that the state government is reviewing its strategies to combat crime more effectively.
