FG set to charge N3,000 average toll on Lagos-Calabar coastal road

Nigeria’s Minister of Works Dave Umahi confirmed the Federal Government plan to charge N3,000 on average per toll gate when the Lagos-Calabar coastal road is completed.
Umahi made the disclosure when he appeared as a guest on a television live show aired on Thursday.
While dismissing calls that the cost budgeted for the road was high, Umahi stated that he will eventually make back the money In 15 years, considering cars could be charged N1,500, while the big trucks could be charged N5,000 at the toll gates.

Speaking further , Umahi revealed that there will be security at the toll gates with some relief activities like restaurants, filling stations, parking lots, including filling stations.
