The immediate-past Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Godwin Emefiele, has vowed to sue the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, for alleged defamation.
The Senate president had say that President Bola Tinubu’s administration did not know the crime to charge Emefiele, he said this at Senator Barinada Mpigi’s thanksgiving service in Koroma, Tai Local Government Area, Rivers State on February 18,.
He added that the President inherited an economic mess from the former CBN governor.
However, Emefirle in a letter through his lawyer, Mathew Burkaa (SAN), addressed to Akpabio, Emefiele demanded an apology in written form and published in the media or be slammed with a N25bn lawsuit.
LaLiga side, Getafe have signed Nigerian youngster, Chrisantus Uche from AD Ceuta. Uche signed a four-year contract with his new club. Gefate paid AD Cueta €500,000 to secure his services. The midfielder will remain with Ceuta for the remainder of the season before permanently joining Getafe’s first team in the summer.
