Delta Government to Prohibit Parents Visiting Children’s School

The Delta State Government has disclosed its plans on implementation of the bill aimed at prohibiting parents from visiting their children’s schools during school hours.

This comes following the death of  a teacher, Sunday Ofah, who was allegedly killed few weeks ago by one of the pupils’ parents.

The suspect, who is currently in the police net, was said to have stormed the school and allegedly attacked the teacher for disciplining his son.

The Chief Inspector of Education, Ika South Local Government Area of the state, O.M. Olushola, disclosed that teachers are not monsters but also parents trained to take care of the students under their custody.
