The United Nations has revealed that at least 100,000 people have fled Sudan since heavy fighting broke out between rival forces on 15 April.
UN officials warned of a full-blown catastrophe if fighting does not end, adding that a further 334,000 people have been displaced within Sudan.
Fighting is continuing in the capital, Khartoum, between the army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, despite a ceasefire due to be in force.
On Monday, the UN special envoy to Sudan, Volker Perthes, said the two sides had agreed to enter into talks to negotiate a stable and reliable ceasefire.
Farmers in parts of the country have reportedly lost N1.3 billion as well as 300 hectares to Tomato Ebola. The situation has led to collaborative efforts by the Federal Government; Nigeria Agribusiness Group among others, to tackle the disease. The President, NABG, Emmanuel Ijewere, said stakeholders have resolved to declare total war on the invading insects.
