The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has de-listed Peoples Democratic Party, candidates in Ebonyi state from the governorship and National Assembly elections.
According to a list, signed by Secretary of Commission, Rose Oriaran-Anthony, the names of the governorship and deputy governorship candidates of the party, Ifeanyi Ọdịi and Igwe Nwagu were conspicuously missing in the updated list.
The commission explained that the updated list was pursuant to various court orders which the commission was bound to abide with.
Also the names of the three senatorial candidates of the party, Sam Egwu (Ebonyi North), Laz Ogbe (Ebonyi Central) and Ama Nnachi (Ebonyi South) were missing from the list.
Bournemouth has agreed a deal for Lorient winger Dango Ouattara. Ouattara has scored six goals and provided six assists in 18 Ligue 1 appearances this season. New Bournemouth owner, Bill Foley, is attempting to buy a stake in Lorient, which has been an advantage in reaching agreement for the winger.
