Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has said that the Peoples Democratic Party PDP owe Nigerians an apology following the controversial statements made by the Presidential Candidate of the party Atiku Abubakar.
This he disclosed while speaking to newsmen in Port Harcourt the state capital on Monday.
According to him, the party must urgently address the issue and appeal to Nigerians lest the people begin to see the party as one where justice and equity do not abound.
Lagos State Government has raised awareness on the need to have cleaner air through the reduction of the burning of fossil fuels. The General Manager of the State Environmental Protection Agency, Dolapo Fasawe, stated this during the ‘Sanwo Switch to Gas’ imitative in the State. According to Fasawe, the initiative is concerned about the health and environment of Lagosians and to encourage the use of cooking gas.
