Ekiti Swears in New Governor

Abiodun Oyebanji has been sworn in as the new governor of Ekiti State.

Oyebanji was sworn in by the Chief Judge of the State, Oyewole Adeyeye, on Sunday.

The Governor pledged to preserve, protect, defend and preserve the office as governor.

He took over from Governor Kayode Fayemi, who doubled as the chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum.
