Rivers to De-recognize Omehia as Former Governor.

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, will today sign the official de-recognition of Celestine Omehia as a former governor of the state.

This was contained in a statement issued by his media aide, Kelvin Ebiri and made available to newsmen in Port Harcourt, the state capital.

The cancellation follows Thursday’s adoption of a resolution by the State House of Assembly to de-recognize Omehia.
