Federal Executive Council Approves Budget Proposal

The Federal Executive Council, FEC, has approved the budget proposal for onward presentation to the National Assembly.

Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, made this known at the end of the Council’s meeting on Wednesday, in Abuja.

Adesina stated that President Buhari would lay the budget proposal before a joint sitting of the National Assembly on Friday, October 7.

The 2023 budget is estimated at about N19.76 trillion.
