Yusuf Unveils Squad for Ghana Clash

Home-based Super Eagles Head Coach, Salisu Yusuf has unveiled a 22-Man Squad for the 2023 African Nations Championship Qualifier against the Black Galaxies of Ghana.

Yusuf dropped 13 players from the initial 35 players invited to camp and the list consisted of three Goalkeepers, Eight Defenders, Six Midfielders, and Five Strikers.

The players and their officials have departed Abuja for Accra for the game.

The first leg will take place at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday while the reverse fixture is billed for September 3 in the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

GDP Grows by 3.54% in Q2 2022

The National Bureau of Statistics, NBS, says Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product, GDP, grew by 3.54 per cent in the second quarter of 2022 on a year-on-year basis. This was contained in a statement issued by the Chief Executive Officer of NBS, Semiu Adeniran, ON Friday in Abuja. Semiu said in nominal terms, aggregate GDP stood at N45 trillion in the second quarter of 2022.
