Kaduna Assembly Dismisses Report Over Impeachment of El-Rufia

The Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Yusuf Zailani, has said there was no plan to impeach the State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.

A statement issued by his Media aide, Ibrahim Danfulani, disclosed that the report of the impeachment was false and should be discarded.

The statement added that the relationship between the legislature and Executive is cordial.

Recall that report had emerged that the Assembly was on the verge of impeaching the Governor.
