Electricity Employees Suspend Strike

The National Union of Electricity Employees, NUEE, has suspended its nationwide strike.

Secretary General of the Union, Joe Ajaero, revealed that the decision followed an emergency meeting with the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige on Wednesday.

Ajaero assured that electricity would be restored across the country.

Recall that electricity workers shut down all Transmission Companies of Nigeria, TCN, on Wednesday.
