Delta State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has arrested at least 192 suspected vandals.
A statement issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer Emeka Peters, revealed that 52 tankers, 11 articulated trucks, and other items were recovered from the suspects.
The statement called on the judiciary to attend to all its cases in order to speed up the trials and prosecutions of suspected crude oil thieves.
It promised that the Corps would perform excellently well if necessary logistics were adequately provided.
British number one Emma Raducanu thrashed Serenna Williams in the Cincinnati Open first round. Williams, lost 6-4 6-0 in what is set to be the penultimate event of her career. Reigning US Open champion Raducanu will play Victoria Azarenka in round two.
