United Nations Issue Warning to Ukraine

The United Nations chief has called for an immediate end to all Military activity around Europe’s largest nuclear power plant in Southeastern Ukraine.

In a statement issued ahead of a UN Security Council meeting called by Russia, UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres warned that any damage could lead to catastrophic consequences in the region and beyond.

The statement stressed the need for urgent agreement on a safe demilitarization to ensure the safety of the area.

FG to Implement New Tariff Hike on Data and Calls

The Minister of Finance, Budget, and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed, has said the Federal Government is set to implement a new tariff hike on data and calls. This was disclosed in a statement signed by the minister’s Special Adviser,on Media & Communications, Yunusa Abdullahi, in Abuja. According to the statement, this will start with the implementation of a percent excise duty tax on all voice calls, SMS, and data services.
